Erynn Brook

Erynn is a multifaceted performer who in addition to singing, dancing, and acting, is also a musician who plays keyboards and percussion with the bands Molly’s Chamber and The One And Onlys. She attended Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and received her diploma in Acting, Singing, and Dance. She joined the faculty of The S.P.A.C.E. in 2013, and has been our Musical Director since 2014.

As a musical theatre performer, some of Erynn’s favourite roles to date include playing “Charlie” in High Fidelity, “Dolores” in The Full Monty, and “Jo March” and “Meg March” in two different productions of Little Women. Erynn has performed twice in the Toronto Fringe Festival, and has also performed at the Annex Theatre, Little Red Theatre, and Globus Theatre in Bobcaygeon. Erynn played the role of “Ophelia” in a production of Hamlet Live, which was live streamed around the world.

Her vocal training and experience encompasses a wide variety of styles, from musical theatre to pop and rock and R&B. As a teacher, she focuses on musical theatre and contemporary styles, and encourages her students to tell the story and find the character in the songs they are singing in order to bring life and vibrancy to every performance, large or small.

Erynn has over a decade of experience working with children, and her obvious love of musical theatre and broad knowledge of shows inspires her students to discover new shows and performers as they venture into the world of performing themselves. As Music Director, this knowledge is an asset to our students, who can count on Erynn to find just the right piece to showcase their voices in their one on one Vocal classes, and she chooses group pieces for Musical Theatre classes with the same care and attention to detail. The S.P.A.C.E. is glad to have Erynn working with our students in class and on our shows.
